TPC Scottsdale is available on GSPro. The community LIDAR build of the Stadium Course — the PGA Tour venue that draws 200,000 fans a day for the WM Phoenix Open — gives you access to the same track where Rickie Fowler, Phil Mickelson, and every Tour player with a personality has made a Sunday charge.

The Stadium Course is a Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish design that was built specifically for spectator golf. The wide fairways, the stadium-mounded holes on the back nine, and the famous 16th hole — the par-3 surrounded by grandstands — all translate to GSPro. The course is not the hardest test on Tour. It is the most fun test on Tour.

Quality Assessment

The GSPro LIDAR build of TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course is a solid conversion. The Sonoran Desert terrain with its saguaro cacti, desert waste areas, and mountain views is distinctive, and the LIDAR captures the topography well. The course sits in the desert floor with the McDowell Mountains as a backdrop, and the elevation changes are subtle but present.

The 16th hole — the 163-yard par-3 that is the loudest hole in golf — plays in GSPro as a straightforward short-iron shot to a green surrounded by a bowl of desert and bunkers. The grandstands are not modeled, but the geometry of the hole itself is accurate.

The 18th, the 442-yard par-4 with water down the right and a green that slopes away, is a genuine closing test. The LIDAR build captures the angle.

Visual quality is good for LIDAR. The desert environment with open views and minimal tree obstruction produces a clean scan.

Frequently Asked Questions

How realistic is this course on GSPro?

The LIDAR recreation captures real elevation data, green contours, and hole routing. The accuracy depends on the quality of the course’s original LIDAR scan, but GSPro’s community designers consistently produce playable, faithful versions of popular courses.

What launch monitor pairs best with GSPro for this course?

Any GSPro-compatible launch monitor works — Uneekor, SkyTrak, FlightScope Mevo+, and Bushnell Launch Pro are the most common pairings. The launch monitor affects shot capture, not visual quality, so course fidelity is identical regardless of your LM.

Is this course available on other sim platforms?

Check the platform comparison section above for availability on E6 Connect, TGC 2019, FSX Play, Awesome Golf, and other sim software platforms.
