The Short Answer

Streamsong Blue on GSPro — the Gil Hanse Florida resort design routing through lowland lakes and sandy ridges. How the LIDAR version plays in simulation.

Streamsong Blue is the Gil Hanse design at the Florida mega-resort, and it is the most visually dramatic of the three courses on property. While Red winds along the ridge and Black dives into the sandy valleys, Blue threads through the lowland lakes and rises to elevated green sites that demand precision approaches.

On GSPro, Streamsong Blue is available as a LIDAR community build. It plays differently from Red and Black because the terrain is lower and the water hazards are more present.

Finding Streamsong Blue on GSPro

Search for “Streamsong Blue” in the GSPro course database. The LIDAR version is available in the community library alongside Red and Black.

The LIDAR Quality

Blue runs through the lowlands of the property, using the lakes and wetlands as its primary defense. The LIDAR data captures the flat, open terrain around the water features, and the tree cover is minimal so the scans are clean.

The green complexes are the highlight. Hanse built raised greens with steep falloffs, and the LIDAR captures the elevated nature of the green sites. If you miss a green at Streamsong Blue in the sim, you will face the same difficult pitch or chip you would in real life.

How It Plays

Streamsong Blue is longer than Red and more exposed to the wind. The course plays to 7,000 yards from the tips, and the water hazards on holes like the par-4 4th and par-3 12th force precise carries.

The par-5 7th hole is the signature. It plays downhill to a lake, then right along the water to a green set on a peninsula. The LIDAR captures the drama of the hole, including the forced carry on the second shot.

The par-4 16th hole plays straight into the wind with water left and bunkers right. It is a brute of a hole that requires a perfect drive and a precise approach.

Verdict

Streamsong Blue on GSPro is a worthy companion to Red and a strong LIDAR build in its own right. It plays differently from the other two courses at the resort, which means a triple-header at Streamsong on GSPro offers more variety than most sim golf weekends.

Frequently Asked Questions

How realistic is this course on GSPro?

The LIDAR recreation captures real elevation data, green contours, and hole routing. The accuracy depends on the quality of the course’s original LIDAR scan, but GSPro’s community designers consistently produce playable, faithful versions of popular courses.

What launch monitor pairs best with GSPro for this course?

Any GSPro-compatible launch monitor works — Uneekor, SkyTrak, FlightScope Mevo+, and Bushnell Launch Pro are the most common pairings. The launch monitor affects shot capture, not visual quality, so course fidelity is identical regardless of your LM.

Is this course available on other sim platforms?

Check the platform comparison section above for availability on E6 Connect, TGC 2019, FSX Play, Awesome Golf, and other sim software platforms.
