The Short Answer
Pebble Beach on TruGolf Apogee runs through E6 Connect's premium library. $1,000 Course Library upgrade plus $25 Pebble add-on. Voice commands, no stickers.
Can You Play Pebble Beach on TruGolf Apogee? Here’s How
The TruGolf Apogee is the most opinionated overhead launch monitor on the market. Voice commands, laser ball placement, auto-calibration, zero stickers. It is the closest thing to a golf sim appliance.
But appliances have limits. The Apogee only works with E6 Connect. No GSPro. No TGC 2019. No open ecosystem.
This means your Pebble Beach experience on the Apogee is whatever E6 Connect offers. The good news: E6 Connect’s version of Pebble Beach is excellent. The bad news: you will pay for it.
How to Access Pebble on the Apogee
You need the E6 Connect Course Library upgrade ($1,000 one-time). This unlocks all 90+ courses in E6’s library, including Pebble Beach. Pebble Beach is a premium add-on within that library, costing an additional $25.
Total cost to play Pebble Beach on your Apogee: $1,000 for the Course Library upgrade plus $25 for Pebble Beach. That is $1,025 on top of the $4,995 Apogee hardware.
I am not going to tell you that is a good value. It is not. But for the Apogee owner who already committed to the ecosystem, Pebble Beach on E6 is a quality experience.
How It Plays on E6 Through the Apogee
E6 Connect’s version of Pebble Beach is one of the best-looking sim versions of the course. The ocean rendering on holes 7, 8, 9, and 10 is excellent — the water has depth, reflections, and movement that make the Pacific Ocean look real.
The greens are accurate in shape and slope. The tiny greens on 7, 8, and 17 play the correct size. The wind affects ball flight visibly. E6’s physics engine handles the coastal conditions by making the wind a genuine factor on the back nine.
The Apogee’s overhead tracking complements the E6 version well. The Apogee tracks club data at 14,000 fps with no stickers. The ball data is calculated from club metrics. The integration means your shot shapes appear correctly on the E6 version of Pebble Beach.
The Apogee-Specific Advantage
The Apogee has voice commands. You can say “Load Pebble Beach” and the course loads. You can say “Change wind to 15 mph” and the conditions change. You do not touch a screen or a mouse.
For a Pebble Beach round, this convenience matters. You can make course adjustments without losing the rhythm of the round. It is a small thing, but after a few rounds you notice how much friction the voice commands remove.
The Bottom Line
Pebble Beach on TruGolf Apogee is excellent sim golf that costs too much. The E6 version of the course is beautiful. The Apogee hardware is premium. But the $1,000 course library upgrade plus $25 for Pebble Beach is expensive by any standard.
If you already own an Apogee, add Pebble Beach. It is the best course in the E6 library. If you are choosing between an Apogee and a more open ecosystem, factor in the course costs before you buy.
