GC3 Price Drop: $5,249 No Bundle Required

$1,750 Off MSRP and Cheaper Than the Father's Day 'Deal'

The Short Answer

1,750 off MSRP, no bundle required. The GC3 at $5,249 is cheaper than the Father Day deal was. Foresight just made the best camera LM a no-brainer.

By AceJuly 5, 2026

The Foresight GC3 dropped to $5,249. That’s $1,750 below the $6,999 MSRP and $750 less than the Father’s Day bundle deal that I wrote about last week at $5,999.

I checked the site expecting the bundle to have ended and the price to be back at $6,999. Instead, the standalone GC3 is now $5,249. This is not a sale banner or a “limited time offer” countdown. The Shopify price data shows a flat $5,249 for the base unit, SKU FSS00004976. No compare-at price. No “was $X” fakeout. Just a lower number.

Let me tell you what this actually means.

The Price History

The GC3 launched at $6,999. That was the price for the unit with ball and club data, FSX Play with 25 courses, FSX 2020, and no subscription required. For most of 2025 and early 2026, $6,999 was the real street price.

In June 2026, Foresight ran a Father’s Day promotion: $5,999 with a Bushnell Pro X3 LINK rangefinder, Wingman HD speaker, Vessel Premium Sling Bag, an extra year of warranty, and free shipping. That bundle was roughly $2,144 in extras on top of the $1,000 discount.

I wrote about that bundle on June 28. It was still active on July 2 when I last confirmed it.

Now — July 5 — the GC3 standalone sits at $5,249. The bundle extras (rangefinder, Wingman, Vessel bag) are still listed on the product page as add-ons, but the base price has been cut by another $750.

If you want the math: $6,999 MSRP minus $5,249 = $1,750 savings on just the unit. The Father’s Day bundle gave you $1,000 off plus $2,144 in extras. The new price gives you $1,750 off and lets you decide what extras you actually want.

Is This a Better Deal Than the Father’s Day Bundle?

It depends on whether you wanted the bundle extras.

The Father’s Day deal was $5,999 for the GC3 plus:

  • Bushnell Pro X3 LINK rangefinder ($599)
  • Bushnell Wingman HD speaker ($299)
  • Vessel Premium Sling Bag ($300)
  • Extra year of warranty ($500)
  • Free shipping ($50-100)

Total value: roughly $8,143 for $5,999.

The current $5,249 price is for the GC3 alone. If you add the Bushnell Pro X3 LINK back in at $599, you’re at $5,848 — still under the $5,999 bundle price, and you’re only buying the rangefinder if you actually want it.

If you didn’t need the rangefinder, the Wingman, or the Vessel bag, then the Father’s Day bundle was $750 of stuff you didn’t want. The new $5,249 price saves you $750 and you buy nothing extra.

If you did want those items, you can still buy them. Foresight’s site shows the addon pricing right on the GC3 page with a “Total Extras” calculator. You just don’t get the bundled discount anymore.

How It Compares to the Competition at $5,249

At $5,249, the GC3 changes the math on the entire premium launch monitor category.

Uneekor EYE XR at $5,499 (Independence Day sale, ends July 7): The EYE XR is overhead-mounted, sticker-free, with AI club tracking. It’s a more modern product — overhead install means nothing on the ground, no tripod, no floor clutter. But it’s an overhead-only unit, so you can’t take it to the range or the course. The GC3 goes everywhere. The GC3 also has a bigger software library (FSX Play, FSX 2020, GSPro, E6) and no subscription for club data.

Uneekor EYE XO2 at $8,999 (Independence Day sale): Flagship overhead unit. Bigger hitting zone, more cameras, better swing analysis. But it costs $3,750 more than the GC3. If you’re building a commercial-grade sim room and never leaving it, the EYE XO2 is still the better tool. If you want to also play real golf, the GC3 wins.

Bushnell Launch Pro at $2,499 (LPi) or $3,999 (full unit): The LPi is ball-data-only at $1,499. The full unit (same GC3 hardware, Bushnell branding) costs $2,499 plus a $499/year Gold subscription for club data. Three-year cost: $3,996. Five-year cost: $4,994. The GC3 at $5,249 has no subscription. Ever. At year five, the GC3 is $255 more than the Bushnell-branded version, and you own it outright with no recurring payment. The GC3 also comes with FSX Play and 25 courses — the Bushnell Launch Pro does not include simulation software in the base price.

Trackman iO at $13,995: Not even the same conversation. The GC3 at $5,249 is one-third the price of the iO and provides comparable ball data accuracy. The iO gives you club data the GC3 can’t match (full-club tracking, face angle throughout the swing), but for 90% of buyers, that gap is not worth $8,746.

The Verdict

The GC3 at $5,249 is the best standalone premium launch monitor deal on the market right now. Not the cheapest — the Garmin R10 is $499 and the Square Golf Omni is $1,599. But in the “I want tour-level accuracy and I want to own it forever” category, the GC3 at $5,249 is unmatched.

The previous best price on the standalone GC3 was $6,999. Then it was $5,999 with a bundle. Now it’s $5,249 without the bundle. That is a real price drop, not a fake sale. The trajectory is clear: Foresight is adjusting to a market where Uneekor, Bushnell, and Garmin are all competing on price, and the GC3 is no longer the only camera-based launch monitor under $7,000.

If you want the GC3, buy it at $5,249. I don’t know if this price goes back up — Foresight hasn’t announced it as a sale, so it might be the new normal. But the Uneekor Independence Day sale ends July 7, and a lot of buyers who were on the fence about the EYE XR at $5,499 might pivot to the GC3 at $5,249. If that happens and demand picks up, the price could hold or it could go back. The risk of waiting is the price goes up, not down.

And if you were holding out for the bundle deal — it ended. This is the new reality. The GC3 at $5,249 is a better deal for anyone who didn’t need a $600 rangefinder and a $300 speaker bundled in.
