GC3 Buddy Bundle: Deal Ended July 14, Confirmed
Foresight's GC3 Buddy Bundle has expired as of July 14. The one-week offer for two GC3 units at $9,999 ($4,999 each) is no longer available. The cheapest new GC3 is now $5,249.
The Short Answer
Foresight's GC3 Buddy Bundle expired July 14 as scheduled. The $9,999 two-unit deal is gone. Here's what to do if you missed it.
UPDATE (July 14): The GC3 Buddy Bundle has expired. Foresight removed the product page. The one-week-only offer for two GC3 units at $4,999 each is officially over. The cheapest way to buy a new GC3 is now the standalone unit at $5,249. If you missed the deal, see the alternatives below.
Foresight dropped the GC3 standalone to $5,249 two days ago. I called that a permanent price correction, not a sale. I was right about the correction part. But I missed this: Foresight is also running a GC3 Buddy Bundle — two units for $9,999. That’s $4,999 each.
Here’s what you need to know before you decide whether this deal is for you.
The Deal
Two GC3 launch monitors with full ball and club data, each paired with a Bushnell Pro X3+LINK laser rangefinder, for $9,999 total. That comes out to $4,999 per unit. Both ship with FSX Play, FSX 2020, 25 courses each, FSX Pro, Foresight Fairgrounds, a sling bag, and a 1-year warranty.
The regular price for two GC3s plus two rangefinders is $13,998 ($6,999 x 2). You save $4,000.
It’s available directly on foresightsports.com. PlayBetter also has it with coupon code GC3BUDDYPROMO.
How $4,999 Sits in the Current GC3 Pricing Landscape
Let me lay out every way to buy a GC3 right now, because Foresight has created more pricing tiers than I’ve ever seen from them:
- Buddy Bundle: $4,999 per unit (new, two-unit minimum)
- Certified Pre-Owned: $4,799 (6-month warranty)
- Standalone permanent price: $5,249 (new, no extras)
- Father’s Day bundle: $5,999 (includes Pro X3 LINK, Wingman HD, Vessel bag, +1yr warranty)
The Buddy Bundle at $4,999 per unit is $250 less than the standalone price. It’s $1,000 less than the Father’s Day bundle. And it comes with the Pro X3+LINK rangefinder, which retails for $599 on its own.
On a per-unit basis, this is the lowest price for a new GC3 that has ever existed.
The Catch
You have to buy two. Both units ship to the same U.S. address. U.S. customers only.
If you are one person building one simulator, you do not need two launch monitors. This deal is for:
- Two golfers who both want GC3s and can coordinate a single order
- A facility building a two-bay setup
- Someone who wants to buy one for themselves and resell the second (at $4,999 retail with the rangefinder, that is not a bad proposition on eBay)
- A serious golfer who wants a dedicated home unit and a dedicated outdoor range unit
The terms also say both units must ship to the same address. You cannot have one sent to you and one to your buddy. One of you will be the recipient and will need to forward the second unit.
How This Compares to Alternatives at This Price Point
A single GC3 at $5,249 already makes it the most accurate sub-$6,000 launch monitor with ball and club data. At $4,999 with a rangefinder included, the value proposition gets even stronger.
The only direct competitor in this bracket is the Bushnell Launch Pro, which after the Circle B rebranding sits at $2,499 for ball data and requires a $499/year Gold subscription for club data and simulation. The GC3 has no mandatory subscription. Over three years, the Bushnell Launch Pro Gold route costs about $3,996 ($2,499 + $499/yr x 3). The GC3 at $4,999 costs $4,999 with zero recurring fees.
Below this, the Uneekor Eye Mini Lite at $2,699 is the value play. Above this, the Uneekor Eye XO2 at $6,999 is the next step up. The GC3 sits in a sweet spot that no other launch monitor currently fills — tour-validated accuracy, ball and club data, no subscription, and now at a price that undercuts the subscription-based alternatives on a 3-year total cost basis.
When Will This Deal End?
Update July 14: The deal has ended. Foresight’s product page for the GC3 Buddy Bundle now returns a 404. The one-week offer expired as scheduled on July 14. Foresight did not extend it.
The deal was originally announced as a “one week only” offer on July 7 with “limited quantities.” Unlike the Father’s Day bundle (which was supposed to end June 28 and ran until July 5), Foresight held to the deadline on this one. The Buddy Bundle is gone.
What now? The cheapest new GC3 is the standalone unit at $5,249 through Foresight’s ongoing 250 Years 25% Off sale. The Certified Pre-Owned GC3 at $4,799 (6-month warranty) is also still available. If both you and a partner were planning to buy, you now have to buy separately — the two-unit bundle discount is gone. If you want to wait, the next major Foresight sale could be Black Friday or a “Summer’s End” promotion in August-September, though neither is confirmed.
Who Should Jump On This
Buy it if: You and a golf partner both want GC3s and can coordinate a single shipment. At $4,999 each with rangefinders included, this is the best price you will see on a new GC3. Period.
Consider it if: You are building a commercial or multi-bay setup and need multiple units. The savings scale.
Skip it if: You only need one GC3. The standalone at $5,249 is still an excellent price and saves you the hassle of coordinating with someone else. Or buy the Buddy Bundle, keep one, sell the second, and effectively pay less than $5,249 for yours.
Pass entirely if: You are on a budget under $3,000. Look at the Uneekor Eye Mini Lite at $2,699 or the SkyTrak+ at $1,495 instead. A GC3 at any price is still a premium purchase.
Full Disclosure on the Rangefinder
The Pro X3+LINK rangefinder in the Buddy Bundle is the same unit that retails for $599.99 on Bushnell’s site. It pairs with the GC3 via the MyBag feature for on-course club recommendations. This is not a stripped-down OEM version. It is the full product. If you already own one, you now have a backup or a gift.
