Uneekor is making a real push into Europe. Not the “we’re available internationally” kind of push — the “we hired people with titles and budgets and now we’re actually live” kind.

The expansion went official in late June, but today’s confirmation from Golf Retailing makes it clear: this is live. Products are available now through authorized resellers across the UK and Europe. No more importing. No more wondering if the warranty applies in your country.

They brought in Stuart Archibald as Director of Sales for EMEA. Archibald spent years at Foresight Sports running their EMEA operation — same guy who helped bring GC3 and GCQuad into golf shops across Europe. If you’ve seen a Foresight launch monitor in a European fitting studio, he’s probably part of why it’s there. He’s a former tour pro with a decade of competitive play plus 20 years in the golf technology business.

For the UK and Ireland specifically, they hired Mark Stevens as Director. Stevens ran Garmin’s UK and Ireland golf business. You know the Garmin R10, the Approach line, Home Tee Hero — that was his territory. He knows how to get golf hardware into British and Irish hands.

Then there’s Charlie Brazil, who joined as Supply Chain Manager for EMEA. Brazil spent 8-plus years at PXG, where he built and scaled their UK and European production and distribution network from scratch. The message is clear: Uneekor isn’t shipping a few units to a warehouse and calling it a day. They’re putting infrastructure in place to handle real volume.

James Murphy, Uneekor’s Global Marketing Director, is a UK resident and will work closely with the new European team. That’s a signal too — the person directing global marketing lives in the market they’re expanding into. Not a remote oversight situation.

Why This Matters

Uneekor makes some of the best overhead launch monitors in the world. The EYE XO ($6,000-$8,000) is the most installed overhead unit in home sims. The EYE XO2 ($8,999-$10,999) is the current flagship, building on the same platform with upgraded cameras and higher-speed capture. The EYE XR ($5,499) brought overhead accuracy to a price point that actually competes with ground units.

But their European distribution has been thin. If you’re a sim builder in the UK and you wanted an EYE XO, you were either importing it yourself or hoping a specialty shop carried it. Uneekor’s new partners — Golf Bays UK, Golf Swing Systems, and Urban Golf — are established retailers with real inventory. They’re not experimental dropshippers.

Golf Bays UK is the big one. They’re the UK’s largest home golf simulator retailer and installer. They carry Carl’s Place, SIG, and Uneekor. If you’re in the UK and building a sim, you’ve probably already been on their site.

Golf Swing Systems is the Irish connection — covers both Ireland and Northern Ireland. They do full turnkey builds and have been in the sim business for years.

Urban Golf is the London specialist. They’ve been doing indoor golf in the UK since 2009. They know the market, they know the space constraints (apartment golf is real in London), and they know European buyers’ biggest headache — shipping and VAT.

Golf Balls.AT covers continental Europe, including Germany, Austria, and the broader EU market. They’re the authorized Uneekor reseller for customers outside the UK and Ireland.

The European Angle

The European market for home golf sims is different from the US market. Rooms are smaller. Ceilings are lower. Garages are less common — especially in the UK where a “garage” might be a converted shed or a ground-floor room with no car access.

Overhead launch monitors make more sense in European spaces than ground units do. An EYE XR mounted to the ceiling doesn’t take floor space. It works in rooms where there’s barely room for a mat and a screen, let alone a side table with a launch monitor on it.

The gap has been distribution and support. Uneekor’s European customers had to buy from US retailers or Korean direct. Shipping, duties, VAT, and warranty support were all open questions. Having Archibald and Stevens on the ground — with real retail partners — changes the calculus.

What This Means for European Buyers

Three things change immediately.

First, you can buy Uneekor in Europe now. Golf Bays UK, Golf Swing Systems, and Urban Golf carry the full Uneekor lineup. No importing, no customs forms, no wondering if the warranty applies in your country.

Second, Uneekor is serious about this market. Hiring former Foresight and Garmin directors isn’t a hobby. These are people who know how to build distribution networks and retail relationships in European golf. They’re not going to abandon the market after six months.

Third, this puts pressure on Foresight and Trackman in Europe. Those two brands have dominated the European premium launch monitor market for years. Uneekor offers equivalent or better hardware at lower prices — the EYE XR at $5,499 competes with nothing in Foresight’s lineup at that price. The only thing holding Uneekor back was distribution. That obstacle just got smaller.

The Catch

Distribution isn’t the same as demand. European sim builders know Uneekor exists, but the brand awareness isn’t what Foresight or Trackman have built over decades. Archibald and Stevens have the Rolodex to fix that, but it takes time. Retail availability doesn’t mean immediate adoption.

Also, Uneekor’s subscription model — $199/year for the GSPro connector — is the same friction point in Europe that it is in the US. European buyers are just as annoyed by annual fees as American ones.

The Verdict

Uneekor is making the right move. Europe is an underserved market for overhead launch monitors, and Uneekor has the best hardware at every price tier. Hiring proven distribution leaders and partnering with established retailers is the correct playbook.

If you’re building a sim in the UK, Ireland, or continental Europe and you’ve been eyeing Uneekor’s overhead lineup, the logistics just got a lot easier. Check Golf Bays UK for pricing in GBP, or Urban Golf if you’re in London and want to see the hardware before buying.
