E6 Connect — Not Available

E6 Connect does not have Augusta National.

I’ve seen other websites say it does. They’re wrong. E6 Connect has an officially licensed course library — Pebble Beach, Bethpage Black, St Andrews, and dozens of other real courses with real names. But Augusta National has never licensed its course to E6. Not in 2020, not in 2025, not in 2026.

You will not find “Augusta National” in E6 Connect’s library. You will not find “Georgia Golf Club” or “Firethorn” or any disguised version. E6’s library is curated and official. Augusta isn’t in it.

If E6 Connect is your software, you have two options:

  1. Buy GSPro as a second software subscription ($250/year).
  2. Accept that you won’t play Augusta on E6.

That’s it. Don’t let anyone tell you different.

Compatible Launch Monitors

E6 Connect works with everything — GC3, GCQuad, Uneekor, SkyTrak+, Mevo+, Garmin R10, Bushnell Launch Pro. E6 has the widest compatibility of any sim software. But compatibility doesn’t get you Augusta.

TGC 2019 — Good, But Getting Old

TGC 2019 has Augusta. The catch: TGC 2019 was discontinued in 2025. You can’t buy it anymore. If you already own it, you’re golden. If you don’t, you’re out of luck.

Course name: “Firethorn.” Search for that in the course library. There are two versions — “Firethorn (Member Tees)” and “Firethorn (Tournament Tees).” Play the tournament version. That’s the real experience.

Other names: “Augusta National 2019” (by Royce Brown, with 5 tee sets and 4 pin positions), “Magnolia National” (by CLV), and “Augusta National ’19 Pins” all exist in the TGC 2019 library. Quality varies by designer.

Which one to play: Firethorn (Tournament Tees) is the best version on TGC 2019. It’s the most complete, the most challenging, and the most faithful to the real routing.

Quality: Good for its time. TGC 2019 was the best sim software when it launched in 2019. By 2026 standards, the graphics look dated. The course plays well — the greens are tough, the routing is accurate — but it doesn’t look as good as GSPro’s Georgia Golf Club. The lighting is flat. The textures are lower resolution. The shadows don’t move.

The real problem: TGC 2019 is a dead platform. No updates. No new courses from the developer. No bug fixes. The community still publishes courses, but the underlying engine hasn’t changed in years. If you have it, play it. If you’re choosing between TGC 2019 and GSPro, the choice is obvious.

Compatible Launch Monitors

  • SkyTrak and SkyTrak+
  • GC2 and GCQuad (with connector)
  • Protee
  • Garmin R10
  • Uneekor (limited)

TGC 2019 doesn’t support newer launch monitors. If you bought a launch monitor after 2023, check compatibility before you assume it works.

FSX Play — Not Available

FSX Play does not have Augusta National.

Foresight Sports created “Magnolia National” as an Augusta-inspired course for FSX Play. It’s a tribute — not a recreation. The holes are different. The par 5s don’t match. The famous holes (13, 15, 16) aren’t there in their real form. It’s a good course in its own right, but it’s not Augusta.

If FSX Play is your software and you want Augusta, you need to connect to GSPro or TGC 2019 as a third-party software. Foresight hardware (GC3, GCQuad) works with both — you just need the connector license.

Awesome Golf — Not Available

Awesome Golf does not have Augusta National.

Awesome Golf is a family-friendly sim software. It has original fantasy courses, fun game modes like Boat Blast, and a solid practice range. It’s not trying to be a realistic course library. There are no real-world courses at all in Awesome Golf’s standard offerings, let alone Augusta.

Play Awesome Golf with the kids on a weekend. Don’t expect to play the Masters.

Which Launch Monitor Works with Which Software (Augusta Edition)

Here’s the quick-reference chart:

Software Has Augusta? Best LM Options
GSPro YES — “Georgia Golf Club” Uneekor, SkyTrak+, Mevo+, GC3/GCQuad (w/ connector)
TGC 2019 YES — “Firethorn” SkyTrak, GC2, GCQuad (w/ connector), Protee
E6 Connect NO Everything — but it doesn’t matter
FSX Play NO Foresight-only
Awesome Golf NO Mevo+, Garmin R10, Rapsodo MLM2Pro

Our Pick: GSPro

This is the easy one.

GSPro is the best way to play Augusta on a golf simulator. The Georgia Golf Club version by Tekbud is the best community-built Augusta recreation available on any platform. It’s LIDAR-based, it’s regularly updated, it supports any modern launch monitor, and it costs $250/year — less than a single round at a decent public course.

If you already own TGC 2019, play Firethorn. It’s good enough to scratch the itch.

If you own E6 Connect, FSX Play, or Awesome Golf, you have three options:

  1. Buy GSPro.
  2. Accept that you won’t play Augusta.
  3. Option 1.

I’m not being flippant. GSPro is $250 a year. That’s twenty bucks a month. You spend more on range balls. You spend more on the coffee you drink while you play. If playing Augusta matters to you — and if you’re reading this, it does — then GSPro is the answer. Period.

Why GSPro Wins

  • Best course quality. Georgia Golf Club is a LIDAR-based recreation with tournament-speed greens and accurate contouring. It’s the closest thing to the real course you’ll find outside the gates of 2604 Washington Road.
  • Largest course library. 2,900+ courses. You buy GSPro for Augusta, you stay for the 2,899 other courses.
  • Regular updates. The GSPro community is active. New courses drop every week. Georgia Golf Club gets updated when the real course changes.
  • Wide launch monitor support. Whatever you bought, it probably works.
  • It’s not E6 Connect. E6 is $300/year for a smaller library and no Augusta. The math isn’t hard.

The Settings That Matter

When you load Georgia Golf Club for the first time, change these settings before you hit a shot:

  • Tees: Tournament (TIPS)
  • Green speed: 13
  • Firmness: Maximum
  • Wind: 10-15 mph
  • Rough height: Masters

Everything else is default. Hit the range for five minutes to calibrate. Then drop into 11 and find out if you’ve got the stones to hold the green at the most famous par 3 in golf.

Spoiler: you probably don’t. But that’s the point.

GSPro costs $250/year. All courses mentioned are free with your subscription. We may earn a commission if you purchase through links on this page — but the recommendations are based on actual playtime. No sponsored courses. No paid placements.
