Black Friday 2026 Golf Sims: What to Expect

What to Expect and What to Wait For

The Short Answer

Based on 2025 deal data, most Black Friday sim deals are overhyped. But the GC3 hit $5,249 last year. Here is what is actually worth waiting for.

By AceJune 24, 2026

Black Friday is the Super Bowl of golf simulator deals. It’s the one time of year when the launch monitor you’ve been watching for six months actually drops to a price that makes your wife say “fine, get it.”

The question is: should you wait?

What happened in 2025 tells you where Black Friday 2026 is heading. If you understand the pattern, you’ll know exactly when to pull the trigger.

What Happened on Black Friday 2025

The actual deal data from last November. These are the discounts that landed:

SkyTrak

  • ST MAX: $500 off (lowest price since launch — $2,495)
  • SkyTrak+: $1,100 off (clearance — $1,895, now CPO at $1,495)
  • Simulator Studios: $600 off complete packages
  • Memberships: 25% off Essential, Core, and Elite plans (first time ever)

FlightScope

  • Mevo+: Down to $1,099 (from $2,299 — a 52% discount, the deepest cut in the market)
  • Mevo Gen2: Pro Package + Face Impact bundle at $2,149 (from $2,798)
  • Pro Package add-on: $599 (from $1,000)
  • X3C + i4 Rangefinder bundle: $12,745 (from $14,995)

Garmin

  • R10: Up to $200 off (down to ~$399)
  • R50: Limited bundles with free accessories

Uneekor

  • EYE MINI: $1,999 (from $2,750 — 27% off)
  • EYE XO: $5,600 (from $8,000 — 30% off, deepest Uneekor discount on record)
  • EYE XO2: $7,700 (from $11,000 — included free Balance Optix pressure mat)

Bushnell

  • Launch Pro: Bundled with free simulator packages (hardware price held at $2,499 but added $1,000+ in free accessories)
  • Launch Pro Full Sim Package: $9,999 with included 1-year Gold subscription

Rapsodo

  • MLM2PRO: $699 with 12 free RPT balls (Pro V1 or Chrome Tour) — effectively $80-100 in free merchandise

Carl’s Place

  • Enclosure kits: 10-15% off across all tiers
  • Free shipping on all orders

What This Tells Us About Black Friday 2026

Pattern 1: The deepest discounts are on outgoing models

The SkyTrak+ at $1,100 off wasn’t generosity. It was clearance. SkyTrak was making room for the ST MAX. The Mevo+ at 52% off? FlightScope is pushing inventory before the next-generation Mevo lands.

2026 prediction: If a new product launches in Q3 2026, the previous model will see the biggest Black Friday discount. Watch for product announcements in August-September. If Uneekor announces an EYE MINI successor, the current MINI will drop hard.

Pattern 2: Premium units hold price but add value

The Bushnell Launch Pro didn’t drop below $2,499 in 2025. Instead, Bushnell added free accessories and bundled subscriptions. Same with Garmin’s R50.

2026 prediction: Don’t expect the R50 or Launch Pro to drop in raw price. Look for bundles — free Gold subscriptions, free gaming PCs, free impact screens. The “effective discount” is real even when the sticker price holds.

Pattern 3: Subscriptions go on sale (rarely)

SkyTrak offering 25% off memberships was unprecedented. Launch monitor companies treat subscription revenue as sacred — it’s recurring, high-margin, and they protect it.

2026 prediction: Subscription discounts will return but remain modest (15-25%). If you’re on the fence about a SkyTrak Elite or Bushnell Gold subscription, Black Friday is the time to pull the trigger. You won’t see that price again for 12 months.

Pattern 4: Entry-level units get modest cuts

The Garmin R10 at $200 off (down to ~$399) is a solid deal but not earth-shattering. Entry-level units have thin margins. Don’t expect the R10 to hit $299.

2026 prediction: R10 at $399-449. Rapsodo MLM2PRO at $599-649 with free balls. Square Golf at $499 (if they participate — they’re new enough that discounting signals desperation, so they may hold).

Should You Wait or Buy Now?

Wait for Black Friday if:

  • You want a SkyTrak ST MAX ($500 off is likely — would bring it to $2,495)
  • You want a Mevo+ successor or clearance (if FlightScope refreshes the line, current Mevo+ could hit $899)
  • You want an Uneekor EYE MINI (27% off precedent — could hit $1,999 again)
  • You’re buying a complete simulator package (bundled discounts of $600-1,000 are standard)
  • You want a subscription (SkyTrak memberships, possibly Bushnell Gold)

Buy now if:

  • You want a Garmin R10 ($499 now, $399-449 on Black Friday — $100-150 savings isn’t worth 5 months of waiting when you could be practicing now)
  • You want a Bushnell Launch Pro (price won’t drop; bundles add value but you might not need the bundled items)
  • You found a SkyTrak+ CPO at $1,495 (this is already below Black Friday pricing — clearance inventory won’t last until November)
  • You want a Square Golf (too new for meaningful discounts)

The One Deal That Won’t Repeat

The SkyTrak+ at $1,495 CPO is already the best deal in golf simulators. It’s a $2,995 launch monitor (original MSRP) selling at half price because it’s discontinued. Once the CPO inventory clears, the entry point to the SkyTrak ecosystem becomes $2,995 (the ST MAX) — full stop.

If you’re even considering a SkyTrak, buy the CPO now. There is no scenario where waiting until Black Friday gets you a better price on a SkyTrak+. The inventory will be gone.

How to Actually Shop Black Friday

  1. Set price alerts now. Track the products you want on PlayBetter, Rain or Shine Golf, and Amazon. Price drops often happen the Monday before Black Friday, not on Black Friday itself.

  2. Check bundle value, not just price. A “free gaming PC” with a Launch Pro purchase is worth $800-1,200. A “free impact screen” is worth $300-500. Calculate the effective price, not the sticker.

  3. Buy from authorized retailers. Gray-market deals exist but warranties don’t transfer. PlayBetter, Rain or Shine Golf, and direct-from-manufacturer are safe. Random eBay sellers are not.

  4. Subscription discounts are the hidden win. If you’re already in the SkyTrak or Bushnell ecosystem, Black Friday is when you renew or upgrade your subscription at 15-25% off. Set a calendar reminder.

  5. Don’t forget Cyber Monday. Some of the best 2025 deals (FlightScope, Carl’s Place) dropped on Cyber Monday, not Black Friday. The 72-hour window from Friday to Monday is when everything happens.

What Actually Matters

Black Friday 2026 will deliver real savings on mid-tier and premium launch monitors. Expect $200-500 off entry-level units, $500-1,100 off mid-range, and value-bundles on premium gear.

The Dan Kennedy truth: the best deal is the one that gets you practicing. A $599 R10 bought in June that you use for 100 sessions before Black Friday is worth more than a $399 R10 bought in November that sits in the box while you “wait for the perfect deal.”

If you’re ready now, buy now. If you can genuinely wait until November without losing motivation, set your alerts and hold.
